No Lead. Just Delicious Boba.

We are aware of the Consumer Reports study on the boba category, which has led to some sensationalized reporting around whether boba was safe or not.

While we wish Consumer Reports had reached out to us before publishing, we’d like to take a moment to address the study with our community.

We proudly source our boba directly from Taiwan, where our boba (like all of our ingredients) undergo regular annual testing from SGS. All products we import come with an SGS report and have passed SGS standards, with the last test from SGS in September 2025 showing lead was not detected in our boba.

We always support & advocate for greater transparency around sourcing across all food & beverage, and are happy to share our SGS lab results and documentation with any auditing company for verification.
